The firm advises and represents both acquiring and target companies. We provide counsel during the due diligence process, and engage in merger and acquisition contract negotiations to achieve client objectives, consistent with the current tax and business environments.
Contract negotiations, formation and preparation
Lucas & Lucas, P.S. is available to negotiate, or assist in the negotiation of, client agreements. While adept with customary distributive negotiations, we prefer to engage either in interest-based negotiations, or positional negotiations based on thorough preparation, logically asserted and supported positions, and realistic, but firm demands. We believe that such strategies are most likely to preserve client credibility, while effectively leading to a favorable result.
